The Hunter in it's current frankensteinian form.

The hunter was once a patriotic bot who helped keep the peace in Mascotia, known as Flyflare. However, unfortunate circumstances have turned it into a pitiless killing machine.

History[]

The BAIR that unintentionally caused the BAIR revolt. A combination team leader, until it's fellow units were destroyed by the slugs, it was reporpoused as a recovery unit, searching and recovering damaged BAIR units vital components. Unfotnately, a transport BAIR suffered an internal explosion and crashed, trapping several civilian mascots inside. The Hunter tried to contain the damage and recover the unit's ember core, but was damaged when the damaged BAIR's engine mis-fired, rendering it's speech unit destroyed and higher functions impaired. A few brave mascots attempted to cut out the civilians from the soon to explode BAIR, but the damaged hunter saw this as an attempt to destroy it's wounded comrade, and attacked and killed 2 of the mascots before it's damaged friend went critical, knocking out the nearby mascots and giving the Hunter an opportunity to flee. Severly amaged and feeling betrayed, the Hunter fled to Mascotia's wilderness. However, due to it's combiner/recovery programming, it occasionaly ventures out to attack, disable, and assimilate lone BAIR units, so it might one day return and take it's revenge on Mascotia. The Hunters actions lead to a conflict about the dangers of rogue and rampant BAIR units, and caused some BAIRs to rebel against the Mascotians they worked with. Lately, the Hunter has teamed up with the EARL unit, having a true partnership with it (as EARLS hacking abilities cannot take a firm control of the Hunter's rampant and erratic AI, forcing it to cooperate and treat the Hunter as an equal).

Abilities[]

The Hunter has assimilated the components of many BAIR units. Among these are force feild generators, active camo, flight, and EMP generation. It's weapon of choice is a cuncussion blaster with varible settings, from a rapid fire gun designed to nock people cold, to a sniper like mode that can blow holes in armor plating. However, despite it's powerful tech, if it doesn't moderate it's power use, the Hunter can rapidly deplete it's energy levels, leaving it vulnerable.

Trivia[]

  • The initial insperation for the Hunter came from the Meta (a character from the Red v.s Blue series).
