Benthic

It is a well known fact that deep-sea stuff is awesome. There is even an awesome word for it - Benthic. In fact, there is an entire plane in Mascotia devoted to benthic stuff, aptly named Benthia. The deep sea denizens of Mascotia feel that they deserve their own category. After all, benthic creatures can be quite alien compared to most others.
